Monday, May 25th, is Memorial Day in the USA.  It's a National Holiday in which we Honor our Fallen Soldiers.  For you nice people in other countries, please do the same.

FYI:  My Dad fought in WW1, and was wounded.  Three sons in our family.  At various times, each of us 3 Served our Country.  Oldest brother was wounded in Korea.  Next older brother and I served during peace time.  The only fighting we saw was in a bar on a Friday night.

Memorial Day is big in my family. Myself, wife, and son served. So did my brothers, sister, dad, and uncles.

My Uncle Herman told his parents he was going to join the Navy and end WWII. A week after he enlisted the war ended, so I guess he was right, well, in a way.

Memorial day is dear to my heart I served in the Navy 58-62. I fly the flag 365 datys a year. I served on Midway island for 13 months and it was a stop over base for the Killed  service men who was advisors to Vier Nam . I still see the flag draped coffens  after all these years.
