Some things I have done

Well here are a couple of Plaques,I have cut.The Owl is a pattern by Roly.Our Lady of Guadalupe I,m not sure the name was so small I could not make it out.I think the last name was Cook.Thank You both for 2 Great patterns.

Nicely done, have you burnt the edges of the owl? Looks good

Thanks.No.thats how the stain dries.I use White Pine.Sometimes it does that and sometimes it don't.I can't explain it.I don't know if it's the sanding I do on the wood, the grain.I'm at a loss. But it does make it some of em look like their burnt.

Very nice cuttings. Interesting on the stain work. Have you tried a sanding sealer to stop the effect (if you wanted to stop it).

Travis is a Cook I think.  They both look terrific.

No I have never tried sealer.I may get some and give it a try.Thanks for the tip.
