Old scifi movies

I was playing around on you tube. I love the old 50's 60's scifi movies. One of my favorites is "The Creature From the Black Lagoon. I then found something unbelievable and just had to watch it. I found a 30 minute clip from "The Creature From the Black Lagoon, The Musical." I didn't know there was a musical.

Sound like something from the old cable tv show Mistery Science Theater 3000 (maybe 5000 - can't remember).  Old sifi movies with an added scarcastic running comentary.  Great entertainment!

Youtube is great. I love western movies and there is a channel on Youtube that has many full-length westerns.

My favorite old sci-fi movies were the Japanese "Kaiju" monster movies (Godzilla, etc). Nothing beat watching one of those when I got home from school.

 

I loved them all, though. I remember the original "The Thing" scared the poop out of me......kept me up all night, LOL.

My favorite was and is The Day The Earth Stood Still. Michael Rennie and Patricia Neal were superb. "Klaatu barada nikto"
