I'm off the the annual Celtic Festival today to demonstrate my limited woodcarving skills.  It is a lot of fun as there are all kinds of Scottish animals, music, food and games.  It is gathering of the clans honoring the Douglas clan this year and even a wedding today.

Great , take lots of pictures so we can be there too ,Have fun!

Sorry guys, I didn't think of photos as was busy at the carving table.  Got to meet a lot of nice people although a couple of them were hard to understand as they spoke a funny English.  Saw a lot of guys wearing skirts even one camo, can't imagine what clan that is.  There were at least a dozen clan tents set up and three entertainment stages.  The guy sitting next to me came back from the food area with a Scotch egg but it surely didn't look like any egg I had ever seen.  We were just doing demonstration carving and I had a couple of Celtic knot trivets I had done that everyone wanted to buy.  Think next year I will have to have some made for sale and I'll see how serious they were.

Hey Paul, you should have been there as Douglas was the honor clan.  If I can find the program maybe I can post some pics from it that would show what it was like.  I was so tired that I barely moved yesterday.
