LarryEA Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 WE live in a farm area and people seem to think these areas are the best place to discard their extra cats and kittys. The two cats we have were throw aways and they are 'great' cats. Now we have two more... Mom is a ferel cat that had at least four kitties. Two disappeared and these two were left to starve. What happened to their mom, I don't know. In this picture(s) Wendi and Codi are only about 16 to 18 days old. Have to feed them about every 4 hours. Thats my story. amazingkevin 1 Quote

rjR Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 When I lived on the ND farm sometimes we would see strange cats walking along the highway/ and Railroad tracks (They were side by side for several miles there). Some would come and visit the farm for a little while and then disappear again and some just decided to keep walking. A few very once in a while just moved in, made themselves at home and lived for the rest of their lives at our place@! Some of the "drops" may be just wanders. When I lived on the bank f the Sheyenne River In ND we also had some feral cats that lived along the river. I used to put table scraps behind the garage for the animals! Pretty sure it was not just cats that I assisted. LarryEA 1 Quote

Codi Wendi.jpg Wendi Codi.jpg I'm trying to make friends with a stray by my house .He recognizes my efforts to be his friend.I guess some fresh fish would do it .Heck i'll be your friend for some fish.My budget is slim and where the money goes is on a need it now basis. Food is not on the list everyday.Gasoline is high on the list. This is a tabby with the longest legs on a cat I've ever seen so he's a climber!A tabby was the smartest cat i ever was friends with.
