amazingkevin Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 My plants in buckets are drowning,I'm scrambling to stop leaks in my tent shop.I'm really backed up with things to do out side.Had i known it was going to rain this much i could have put out more large garbage cans to collect rain water for my food plants i have. The swale by the road the land lady doesn't want anybody to park on or the lawn. They are a mud pit as the tenants in the house never listen to her .Their lease is up October ,so i think she's fought with them enough i think. She's spent thousands on the pool because they say it leaks. This is sunny south florida and water evaporates .Plus all the kids that swim in it splash alot of water out too. They complained about the a.c. not being cold enough. She put in a whole new central a.c. for them. They complained the tub leaks. She redid the complete bathroom ,everything. They complained the roof leaked .She had the roof redone .Thy throw there beer bottles on the lawn caps and all and drive over them with their trucks ,9 people stay in the house ,9 cars and trucks total and the garbage over flows on the lawn ,They dump plenty of garbage in the river on the side of the dock .Very nice people i love them all but wow. They blast the music so much the police came to many times and i don't even hear their radio anymore .Probably because the cops told them one more complaint and you go to jail. They play merriachie Mexican music that i like. They decide that my private drive way is theres to use when ever they want and i have to beg them to move there cars and trucks so i can park.I love them all but.You should see the lawn after every year they rent a bounce house .You should see the kids here the neighborhoods too. What a mess with the clown blowing balloons an candy wrappers everywhere.I fill 2- 5 gallon buckets i pick off the lawn with a squeeze picker upper with a long handle. Funny not one cigarette on the ground.lol One of their friends with the tow truck had a good time spinning his 4dually wheels in the swale yesterday.Did i vent ,lol Quote

LarryEA Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 The roofs a leakin' and the neighbors are howlin' Kevin, I'm sorry. Just know it's sunny behind the clouds. Gods in control and tomorrow is a better day. Who sang this song? Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy, sunshine in my eyes can make me cry.Sunshine on the water looks so lovely, sunshine almost always makes me high.If I had a tale that I could tell you, I'd tell a tale sure to make you smile. If I had a wish that I could wish for you, I'd make a wish for sunshine for all the while. John Denver I never could understand the words in songs growing up ,Probably why i don't know the words to any song, thy never stuck in my memory banks.I remember seeing a John Denver movie and it drove his wife crazy because he could not talk to her it had to be in a song. ike Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Our next door neighbor had a problem when he got done with something he dropped it there. It became a real mess then his wife moved back in and he had to clean things up or it was going into the dumpster , so now he is walking the line straight and narrow. she became boss of the household and I don't think she will give that up. spoth28 Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 Sorry for the rain, Kevin. You should sell it to Californians! Also, I'm gonna warn you, I'll do a lot of complaining in the winter when Buffalo gets hammered by the lake effect, aka -20 + wind chill plus 8 feet of snow... True fact: "Buffalo's baby" was the term coined for buffalo's last remaining snow pile last, which lasted till early August, when it was plowed over. amazingkevin 1 Quote

Don't remind me how cold it is up north !lol 12 years in Wisc. shoveling snow was enough. What frosted me was shoveling the sidewalk of and driveway for ours and the neighbors house and immediatly the street snowplow came by and doubled what i just removed, lol. But 8" of snow is pretty bad!   Quote
