Dewalt 788 is THE saw to use for scrolling. Although on the pricier side, (especially for teens) you get what you pay for and can often find one of these for sale on Craigslist.
  3. Try ereplacementparts.com under delta 40-694. It was the first thing that came up under "delta 40 694 replacement parts. It has a nice chart with every thing labeled nicely, and you can buy it directly from them. Hopes this helps!
  4. I was able to find some for 25¢ a piece at a local sawmill. Thanks to all who helped!
  5. @ Larry cheap plywood for portraits.
  6. So I have a craft show Feb 6 and am almost completely out of wood! I have looked all over the internet (www.wooddealonline.com, Amazon, eBay, etc.) And haven't found any wood less than $1 a piece. Does anyone know of any good online sales of wood? Thanks! P.s. I say online because I can't drive yet.
  7. Get a Dewalt you won't need a warranty

    Wolves

Larry, I'm working on a wolf pattern right now too! All that fur...
  9. I go with Wayne. How hard you have to push is a good indication. Also, if you use spirals, which you probably don't, you can tell if the blade pops constantly.
  10. I dunno... where's Marg!!!
  11. Great idea!
  12. I use FD #1 & #3 pretty much exclusively. The thing with them is that even after you tighten that bugger till you have to use pliers it still will pop with wear and tear after a while. Patience is key
  13. How about... getting a longer arm! ;)
  14. And look through every one... and sort them... and put them in their proper places...
  15. Check it out, see if you like it, bring a piece of wood to test, and if you love it more power to ya, and if you don't you just saved 500 bucks on a product you wouldn't have wanted anyway. That's what I did with my Dewalt 20" and I love it.
