Can anyone tell me what is the best way to save my inkscape pattern? I want to ultimately have all of the patterns as JPEG, just because JPEG's can be worked on in any graphic program, However, Inkscape does not allow JPEG. How can I get the pattern ultimately to a JPEG file?\

Sully's correct.  Inkscape does not support JPG natievly.  You'll need another program to convert a PNG to JPG.  A lot of people use GIMP because it's free.  But any photo program will be able to do that.  You can also use an online converter like Image Converter.

I'm not even sure what you mean by that, but thank you for trying to help. I just used Photoshop Elements and saved it as a png and then used GIMP to save that as a JPEG. This is what I do with PDF files also. Not the quickest route, but, It works!
