Never seen one of those before I must have the non adjustable........

FATHER IN LAW MANY, MANY MOONS AGO GAVE ME HIS OLD TOOLS.  ODDS N ENDS.  ONE THING WAS AN ADJUSTABLE C CLAMP.

I'm still young and I also use them. Just not so much on fretwork.  Definitely use them when making hope chests.

I have C clamps  but I am not sure they are adjustable I will have to look for the adjustable on the clamp. Mine look like yours never occurred to me it may not be adjustable. I do adjust them but will look for the word

That's funny. Kinda a play on words. You have to look to know why they are adjustable.

Ah the humble C clamp. The tightening lever always seems to get in my way so I've modified some of my clamps adding this type of handle. Obviously you can't get the same torque but it doesn't seem to matter for my work.

 

I got the idea from Bob Rosendahl (not sure about the spelling) who had a TV show called the Router Workshop.
