The tightening lever always seems to get in my way so I've modified some of my clamps adding this type of handle. Obviously you can't get the same torque but it doesn't seem to matter for my work. I got the idea from Bob Rosendahl (not sure about the spelling) who had a TV show called the Router Workshop. Quote
