ike Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 I did a show yesterday. I sold about $90 worth of lower priced pieces but no big stuff. It was from 12 to 5 which was about 2 hours too long, around here it dies at 3 and that's what it did yesterday I can't complain I don't have much left I did pick up a couple of orders for veterans plates ( Steve Good patterns) It wasn't a real loss.$90 is more than I had to begin with. woodknots, amazingkevin, oneleggimp and 3 others 6 Quote

LarryEA Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 That's enough for a few IHOP breakfast, Good deal. I like going to craft shows but would be sad if I didn't make a little money. Quote
Gordster Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 Good going Ike,$90 is better than none,, you can never tell what they want.If its white, they want it black, if its small they want it bigger..Sometimes I think I am the only one who doesn't know what he is doing.lol WayneMahler and amazingkevin 2 Quote
wbr Posted December 7, 2015 Report Posted December 7, 2015 I tried selling some stuff for the first time last weekend. It was at a local Zoo, Only made $30,not many people came by but I kept busy sanding fuzzies off stuff I'm working on, with the Pink Flamenco's and other birds squawking away at me. Quote
WayneMahler Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 I have done shows that were a bust. Seems to always be a crap shoot. Pulling $90 out is a good thing. Gordster hit a good point too. Hang in there and you will learn the shows that pay and the ones to run from. amazingkevin 1 Quote

Not bad,Not bad at all! The craft shows i visited ,If they sold all there stuff in some booths it wouldn't amount to a hill of beans.I guess they go just to people watch, lol .Well it beat staying home maybe.Hope ! Always hope for more! It can't be for lack of skills ,Probably nobody expects to pay more than a few bucks just to get out and about and booth(window)shop! Quote
ike Posted December 8, 2015 Author Report Posted December 8, 2015 We have a show this Saturday and I have only about 12 different items I have 8 nativity trees left ( had 20 at the beginning of the year) 6 Nativity arches left . Had 20 at the beginning of the year and about 10 miscalculates items left. If I sell the trees and arches it will be a good sale, It is the last of the season. Quote
wombatie Posted December 9, 2015 Report Posted December 9, 2015 $90 is better that a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Good luck for Saturday. Marg Quote
