Chiloquinruss Posted January 6, 2016 Author Report Posted January 6, 2016 what powers them on the track The hobby is powered by 1/3 steamers, 1/3 gasoline, and 1/3 battery. The steamers these days are mostly propane for fuel. Fastest growing part of the hobby is battery mainly because of wheelchair technology. Good controls, good motors, and good batteries. could never handle such large items When I retired my dream was always to have a separate shop. Now I have a 40x50 shop on the river and lots of wood working toys to play with. It really and truly is a dream come true and more fun than I can possibly convey! Pix of my shop and another of my CNC based models (approx 4w 3h 8l). And again thanks for all the comments folks, now all I have to do is learn to scroll, right? Russ My Hawk in the back center Quote
