Don Thanks But do not ask me why It has to be WW1. His Great Grandfather was in WW2. I was Nam era.He has a good collection of WW1. I have to laugh when he sings them songs along with his IPod.He is 16 years old.Figure that one out

This is how historians are made he may grow up and go to collage to become one and I say more power to him... Why not create you own WW1 pattern for him it would mean so much more I bet...

 

Here is a link to some things if done right could be a great thing for him Personally I like Mcarthur talking to someone and the soldier standing by at attention but that's just me....good luck either way.

nice pattern Don,

Here is a WW1 soldier, I didn't know when i started it that you were new to scroll sawing.  This might be a little challenging for you, maybe you can simplify it a little.

Anyway hope it helps

Yepper, just take out the black.  I made it at 8.5" wide i think.  Not positive, but i'd cut it as big as you can, makes it much, much easier.  You don't need to feel like you have to follow the lines exactly.  Just do what is comfortable for you.  It'll still look just fine in the end.

You can probably rotate it and make it 11" wide, IDK.  But i'd go as big as possible.

My grandson is a WW 1 collector. Everything from equipment to songs.As a matter of fact he works around the yard listening to WW1 era music.I Googled it but could not find a thing from that era for scroll sawing Any help would be appreciated .Thanks Tony

I'll have to google this music.I might have had plenty of sheet music books i bought from  that era but in one of the moves my pride and possession keyboards and books had to go.
