trailfndr Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 I am currently looking at ways to display my works at outdoor craft and art fairs. If you do shows, (Indoor or Outdoor) I would greatly appreciate a peek at how you display your intarsia pieces. Obviously I am looking for lightweight, easy setup and teardown, and nice appearance. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated amazingkevin 1 Quote

Bpardue Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I built a folding display stand that rolls out of some 2x3's and some pegboard. Let me know if you want me to take a photo of it Brian Quote

Jim Finn Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 ]I do about 25 outdoor street sales a year. Here in west Texas the wind is an issue . I have had the wind blow 3" tall boxes , laying flat on the table be lifted off and thrown ten feet to the pavement. More than once. Vertical displays of wall hung items is therefore kinda' risky here. I did it for a few years but I now lay them down flat and guess what.... my sales have improved. Go figure? Quote
Bpardue Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 I'll take a photo of my display board tonight & post the photo tomorrow Quote
woodknots Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Here is what I use. It took a few years of tinkering with it to get it this way and I'm not done. Eventually, I will do away with the stand alone rack and get more of the grid so their will be more room for the buyers to move around. It will be grids on 2 sides and a table in the rear for a few items and a place for bagging the sold items and business cards. Jim Finn 1 Quote
