Got back from todays show, wasn't the greatest, traffic was slow,  and had a little rain,  did less then last year, not to many people sold much, and there was another craft show, not in the area but it wasn't good as I was told. Spring shows haven't been very good. Now I will have to start cutting for Christmas, and replace some items that I sold Other then that had a good timre talking to other vendors. Took a couple pictures have to see how they came out.   edward

Hopefully you made back your table fee. We use the spring shows more for advertising and custom orders. It gets your name out and people get to see your work. I agree with DW on the meet and greet, that's why we approach them they way we do. I do have several big shows coming up, all new territory for us, so it is very exciting.

In my experiance, in years past, the first sale of the year was pretty good but the second and those immediately following were lousy.  Spring sales, even this first sale,  are no where near as good as fall sales are.

I have my first sale of the year this Saturday.  I will see how this works out for me this year.

I do about twenty five sales a year, mostly at a local farmers market.
