I just wanted to let you know that I will be checking in frequently in the next couple days but only for quick spells at a time. I hurt my back the other day :curse: and it bothers me to sit at my computer for very long at a time. I went to the chiropractor and he has me off work for a couple days, so when I can I will be online.

Sorry to hear about the back Clayton. There are two pains in this world that will shut me down. Tooth pain and the absolute worst is back pain. I wish you a speedy recovery. Get some rest and I hope the chiropractor can help.

thanks Paul & Barry. Its my fault, :grr: but it stinks not being able to do much without causing pain. Although I can sit at my desk a little longer today than I could yesterday. I'm itching to get back to the shop. I have an intarsia about 3/4 finished. But the wife says no, and with the fresh snow I can't sneak out the, She could follow my trail.

Sorry to hear that Clayton. Hope you heal well. Now you just need to convince the wife to bring the saw into the dining room so you can keep your spirits up. :D

Thanks all, I went back to the chiropractor this afternoon, and he said I could return to work if I felt I could. So tomorrow I will be going back. My back feels much better but of course I haven't been doing anything either, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

I have two exercise moves that renew my back pain immediatly.Problem is being able to get in that position with that much pain is near impossiable.

But with a helper ,it's a piece of cake and i'll get up off the floor like i never was injured.Another thing i use is a box that shocks you every other second, called a 10's unit, you control the intensity .In between shocks there is no pain and that is pure pleasure and relief. The exercize twists the spine like twisting a towel to wring out the water.Done twice ,once to the right and once to the left. Two ways of doing it.Depends what your problem is.Time heals all wounds.Take a break!the wife let's me use the dining room as my shop as we just moved.
