Beautiful car how fast did you go.what is it, make and model.? Roly

No speedometer and no time to look even if there was one. I don't know whose chassis it was, but it was tubular. The engine and transmission are behind the driver. The engine was a Mazda from the RX-7 (a rotary, not a piston engine). Four forward speeds, no reverse. They said it delivers around 140 hp @ 8700 rpm. The car weights 1400 lbs. The course was 1.6 miles with 15 turns - a very busy lap.

I've been gone for a while. I spent a week at Bob Bondurant's High Performance Driving School near Phoenix Arizona. Wow what an adrenaline rush! For the record, it was on my brother-in-law's dime. Too rich for my blood. attachicon.gifIMG_2732.jpg

Lucky you,I can't go over 100mph.No idea why but i start to shake bad if i do?

Berry got to be honest you look like a rabbit in the headlights in that car. Did you change your under pants after that journey.   Wish it was me in the car and not in your pants.   Roly

Excellent observation. That was one of the early laps in the car. I'm turning into a decreasing radius corner. There's no power steering. The weight of the car and my weight are being thrust to the right (look at the difference on the front tires). I was either up-shifting or figuring out where to up-shift. I couldn't get my thin wire rim glasses & sunglasses on inside the tight helmet. Plus there was an $8000 deductible if you damaged a car.  Yes sir re Bob I don't think there was ever a time in the car where I felt relaxed.
