after driving no more than 70 miles an hour on American interstates for years and years, it is quite exhilarating to drive at high speed on a German autobahn. However, it is quite scary when you are passing somebody going more than 100 miles an hour thinking there's nobody in front of you and nobody behind you and then somebody is eating your rear bumper while you only just blinked. If you are in the very left lane you better get your Hiney out-of-the-way fast.

Lucky you, I would love to see Germany.  At my age, I have a hard time keeping up at 70 mph.   They would not like me over there.
