Thanks Steve.  It all comes from the local recycling centre.  I buy broken furniture, mostly drawer boxes.  The side and back panels are a perfect thickness for scrolling although they usually have some nail holes to contend with.

Boy are you right on the money for getting great wood and already sized for the scroll saw .I've been doing this since i first started with the scroll saw !
