Opinions on the backer would be appreciated. This is the first time I have used this kind of backer.

Rolf, the finished project is just amazing. It's absolutely stunning. I think the backer you selected just enhances the piece. I believe you indicated that you were donating it for a charity. I assume it's an auction, I am sure it will bring in a great deal for the charity. Thanks for sharing your pictures of the work. I love seeing work like this. Shows me how far I have to go.

The leaves are Lignum Vitae natural color and grain.
