hawkeye10 Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 I have a Nissan and the key is one that you carry in your pocket and you don't have to take it out to operate the car. I am not sure but I think some people call them "bobs". The Nissan is my wife's car and she lets me drive it when it needs gas and any up keep. She is really nice. Okay here is where I need help. I carry this key in my pocket with other stuff and on occasion I will go out and find the car with the windows down. I found out that there is a button on there that if you push it twice quickly and hold it the windows will come down. This is happening while I am carrying it in my pocket. How can I get this to stop? I have ask a lot of people and no one has an answer so if you don't either don't be sad. Quote
Scrolling Steve Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 I seldom carry anything in my left front pocket, if it were me , i would put the key in that pocket so there would not be anything else to push the buttons.....if that did not work i would buy bigger pants ! ......Just my two cents worth. Construct a little box type thing where the key plugs into far enough so the button is protected. It wouldn't be any thicker than the key. Quote
kywoodmaster Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 Dealer should be able to kill that feature in the software. Lucky2 1 Quote
breadstick Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 You can turn this feature off in most cars. The owners manual should tell you how. Quote
