Been away

I've been away for the last couple nights. My mother-in-law had a severe heart attack Thurs morning. It's really looking bad right now. She's finally breathing on our own, now. But we're waiting to see how severe brain damage she has. We're afraid there's really no coming back. So right now we're praying for a miracle. So please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers. We need it.

 

The forum will be in the most capable hands of the moderators & staff for now. It might be a bit before I get back.

Thanks everybody for the thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate it. I'm sorry to say that she passed away on Sunday afternoon. She was surrounded by loved ones, which is more than anybody could ask for. She was a huge influence on all of our lives. My son and her were virtually joined at the hip, which makes it even more difficult. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

 

My access to SSV will be limited this week. But the staff has things well under control.

 

If you get a chance, make some sawdust for Suzanne. I'm sure she'd approve. She loved seeing scroll saw projects.

hi travis, i never new the lady but if she was a born again christian i am jealous in a way as she is with jesus. no worries, no pain, no stress and no debts. at the same time she can look in on all of her loved ones at once. i have said a prayer for you and your family tonight to lift you up in spirit and know that she is with us all in spirit. may god bless you and your family in this time of your loss. steve

Thanks everybody for the good thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes. The funeral service was really pretty. She would have been touched by all the love in that room. Here's a link to her obituary. We were all very proud of her.
