Lucky2 Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 Nicely done Jerry, I used to sell this type of cutting. The ones I made had peoples names on them, they were great sellers. I charged so much for the wood, and $5.00 per letter. Your Love you one would sell for $40.00, which isn't so bad for such a small piece of wood. Len Quote
wombatie Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 That's great Jerry. You may be busy for a while. Marg Quote

Lucky2 Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Wow is that Canada $ or American? If it's American I didn't charge enough lol. Jerry Jerry, it was Canadian funds, but, it was when the dollar was near par. It may seem to be a lot of money for such a small item, but, the area I live in will support those prices. Around here it's a mill town, the employees make big money and they don't mind sharing it. Len Edited November 3, 2016 by Lucky2 DukeNukem 1 Quote
meflick Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 Very nice work. Thanks for sharing. I have "compound cutting" like this to try on my list but I don't think it will be with words just yet. Was thinking of doing the snowman from the most recent issue of the Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts magazine. somehow those snowmen seemed an easier place to start then with words! DukeNukem 1 Quote

Thanks all, piece is not at all hard to cut just make sure you drill straight and take your time. I only spent about a half hour cutting it. Jerry Quote
