It is a beautiful design and I suspect we will be seeing several more being made.

 

Thanks Rolf.  Yours is very beautiful, too.   You are much more patient with sanding than I am, I would say.

I totally underestimated the purple heart.  Blade bending galore.  Had to recut quite a few pieces.  Now I am rethinking the wood for Mary.  Maybe take maple for the center rather than walnut?
