drawing tablets

As i get further into making patterns i'm also finding it more difficult to use a mouse so i my son's friend told me that they make a tablet you can plug into your computer and draw on it.  so off to Best Buy i went to see what they are about.  Very cool, but my question is does anyone use these and could recommend a good one.  I've seen them from $70 up to $300!  I work many with Photoshop so i just want something that allows me a little for freedom to do the detail work when making a pattern other than the mouse.  thanks, Ray

Wacom bamboo capture pen and touch is a good one to start out with I got mine from eBay new in box for 30 dollars US so if your just starting out with one go that route.

I use a Trust tablet with pen A4  Not this one but I would if I didn't already have one

This is the one My wife got me for My Christmas present Brand new in the box from Ebay for 30 Dollars (I'm just now starting to use one so I didn't want one that was real expensive) And so far I love it And it is so easy to use....(with the help from youtube)
