Just curious is anyone has purchased Steve Good's new pattern making tutorial?  The ad does not tell what software he is using.

I did not buy the video but right at the start of the video he shows you

He is using Gimp

Not sure how different it is from our very own Lead bottle washer(Travis)

tutorial that you can get here for "free" (what a nice word that is)

Ho, I guess I totally missed that he said Gimp.  Ya, I have been through Travis' tutorial several times, but not often enough, I forget all the steps.  It is a good tutorial.

I have Travis's cd's and he's so long winded explaining it puts me to sleep every time.

Would you rather have some young voluptuous female model giving the tutorial?

Then too much time would be spent watching the video and no scrolling would get done

Not good for the heart for you "older Villagers" . . .lol

For what you gain out of it, I think Travis does a great job

Jot down the important points as you go through the video for future reference

Golly Gee Whiz!  Fab4 I just Love the way you put things in their correct respective.  Me also think Travis's Tutorial is Great.

Need to take your advice and jot down the procedures that would further my learning. 

 

Enjoyed the comparison between Travis and that Young Voluptuous Female.  Would be just a tad difficult paying attention.  LOL

I use Corel draw and have learned a lot from Steve Good's

Tutorials.Also I have watched Travis's tutorials and have learned

a lot from his .

I don't use inkscape but have adopted Travis's lessons

into corel draw.

Like Fab4 says,you have to take notes so you will remember

what was done.Sometimes the simplest step is the big key factor
