rljohn56 Posted March 8, 2017 Report Posted March 8, 2017 I wasn't sure where to post this so i figured why not here. lol question: when i find a pic i like on the internet and download it to use for a project why is it when i open it in photoshop( i have elements 9) the picture is so mall that when i try resizing it i lose the quality? i've tried finding larger size files but the same thing happens. occasionally, for whatever reason i'll download one and it is perfect. what am i missing here? i've tried putting in for ex. 200 pixel picture search or or 500x500 just to see what happens. most of the time it will still be a very small pic. if i could understand why some pics wil open up just fine and others don't it sure would make life easier for me project work. thanks, ray johnson Quote

Phantom Scroller Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) You want resize a small pixel picture without distortion find a larger pixel picture. Roly PS: OVER A 1000 should be fine Edited March 9, 2017 by Phantom Scroller bobscroll 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 Maybe there is an answer, but I really don't see how you can resize that small of a picture and not lose the quality. Quote
bobscroll Posted March 9, 2017 Report Posted March 9, 2017 As Roly say's, You have to have a image that is large enough to be able re-size it without distortion! Also it depends on the detail in the said image, Hope that helps you Ray, Bob Quote
