Mparetsky Posted March 13, 2017 Report Posted March 13, 2017 I'm working on Mothers Day gifts for my mother and my step-mother. I have a large family, with siblings across three different family groups. We are spread across the county, with me in California, sisters in Washington, Wisconsin, New York and Pennsylvania, and a brother in Wisconsin. I'm making each mother a plaque with the states that their children live in. So far, I have the states for one, and I'll be cutting the states for the second plaque this week. My plan is to put a heart in the location of each child. I want to include some sort of lettering, but I'm not sure what to say yet. Any suggestions would be welcome. The background on the photo is my kitchen table, but I'm considering doing a similar color for the plaque. The other option is decorative scrapbook paper from my wife's collection.Wisconsin is backwards in the picture. Fortunately it's not yet glued to anything, so all I have to do is flip it over. Quote
oldhudson Posted March 13, 2017 Report Posted March 13, 2017 I don't see any picture? Sounds like a great project though. Quote
meflick Posted March 13, 2017 Report Posted March 13, 2017 (edited) How about something like a mother's love or heart knows no boundaries or follows her children. Edited March 13, 2017 by meflick Quote
