Trka2002 Posted March 30, 2017 Report Posted March 30, 2017 Over last few weeks my wife has been out in the shop with me and started making her own projects. The only tool I was using was the coffee pot. I went down to lowes and bought another Dewalt saw, which is now hers, but see gave me back my old one. Minus my foot control. jbrowning, Lucky2, Phantom Scroller and 5 others 8 Quote

Trka2002 Posted March 30, 2017 Author Report Posted March 30, 2017 I get plenty of time to myself. She goes to work everyday and I'm disabled so I stay home and hang out in the shop Quote
meflick Posted March 30, 2017 Report Posted March 30, 2017 Very nice choice. Glad your wife got interested in the saw. Have her join us. The more the merrier. I had originally had hubby by our Dewalt scrollsaw many years ago but when I tried it then, had issues and small children so I walked away from it. He has a woodworking shop so he seemed to think that made the saw his, I figured it was mine. Fast forward many, many years. After using an Excalibur in a class, I bought a used one from Seyco. So now there are two saws in the workshop. I still consider them both mine. He has many other tools and does many things - but scrolling is not one of them. He has however, reworked the workshop to "share" the space with me. He created a sanding area next to the scroll saws. He works during the day and I am home so I try not to impinge on his shop time when he's home if he wants to get away! Quote

wombatie Posted April 1, 2017 Report Posted April 1, 2017 I stole my husbands scroll saw 18 years ago before he even got to use it. That's how we operate. Marg Quote
