This trivet project was done using the table saw for the whole thing. The stock is reclaimed maple (cut offs from a gym floor) and cherry splines. The finish is a 50/50 mixture of BLO & MS. The tile sits just a little proud on rabbets. The tile is a left over from another project. And I've included a pic of my jig to cut the splines.Comments always welcome and thanks for looking.

boy your one sharp cookie to know how to do all that.i was wondering for wa long time how the cuts were done like this on jim finns boxes .thanks for enlightening me.

i need to make a sled like this to cut down thick material to thin safely
