I wood burnt this onto a gun stock for my son. I lightly sanded the stock and used BLO on it when I was done.  This was a nice break from all the pen turning I've been doing. Now I have to get back to scrolling (intarsia) and maybe some more wood burning.

just the site of that picture would make a deer roll over and play dead,I'm impressed Clayton!

That is some very nice work.  What you need to do is come up with some unique projects the combine all three arts.  Turning, scrolling and burning.  I love it when I need to use my little lathe and my scroll saw on a project.  I was able to do it on my robots, and this clock I am working on.

Thanks Paul. I have combined scrolling with turning( will post pics in new thread.) I have also combined scrolling with wood burning. I used the wood burner to add highlights to some intarsia pieces.
