Clayton717 Posted May 14, 2017 Report Posted May 14, 2017 I wood burnt this onto a gun stock for my son. I lightly sanded the stock and used BLO on it when I was done. This was a nice break from all the pen turning I've been doing. Now I have to get back to scrolling (intarsia) and maybe some more wood burning. Lucky2, Scrollcrazy, 125 CSL and 6 others 9 Quote

Scrappile Posted May 14, 2017 Report Posted May 14, 2017 That is some very nice work. What you need to do is come up with some unique projects the combine all three arts. Turning, scrolling and burning. I love it when I need to use my little lathe and my scroll saw on a project. I was able to do it on my robots, and this clock I am working on. Clayton717 1 Quote

Roly Thanks Roly, Just takes a little practice. Compared to some of the wood burnings I've seen on facebook, mine is not that good. Phantom Scroller 1 Quote

I used the wood burner to add highlights to some intarsia pieces. Quote
