bandaideman Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 For those who like to tinkle or maybe I mean tinker I am moving and have a type 1 Dewalt 788. before you get excited it stopped running and I was going to work on it and after a few years and I am considering a move that is not going to happen. I have not plugged it in to see if it would run so not sure. The bottom line is I live in McCordsville near Indianapolis and anyone who would like to play with it and put TLC into it and bring it to life It is yours Free! for your trouble if picking up I have a stand never out of the box and the light for the 788 never out of box Free for your trouble. PM me and we can set something up. I wanted to add a quick note that often when those saws just "stop" running - you have blown the fuse in the saw. It is easy and cheap to get a new fuse and replace it so that would be the first thing I would check to see if that could be why it "stopped."
