I have a question about the 2nd amendment and how it's applied, and I don't want to make it a political debate. What I'm wondering is, according to the way it is written, or by the way I read it. How is it possible for the courts, to make it so that certain people cannot own firearms? Isn't that going against the 2nd amendment, if not, why? Please delete this question if it is to political, it's just something I've been wondering about.

Len, a full legal treatise would need to be written to throughly explain and understand the answer to that question and even then, it would probably be debated and discussed without a full consensus of everyone.  Having not done my legal research - the short answer would be that generally in the US, the only people who cannot own a firearm is one who has been found guilty of a serious crime and thus "lose" that right.  With in depth legal research, I could probably find the "logic" given on how they legally lose that right.

Clayton, just awesome work.  I would love to see/hear how you go about doing your wood burning pieces.  I confess that having recently had a birthday, I used it as an excuse to get a razor tip burner and a couple of pens.  I have messed around with it some - learned to sign my name with it and done a few other "practice" items.  I can only dream of the day when my work looks half as good as yours.  Thanks for showing and sharing.  Next time you all head down to Gatlinburg maybe we can work in a lesson!

Thank you Melanie. I'm still learning what I can do with certain tips and heat settings. I really like my Razor tip. I got a couple more burnings ready to go, if I can remember, I will do a video, but it will be pretty boring to watch I think. I'm no pro at it,

Thanks Clayton - not boring I am sure - it helps sometimes to see a "visual" of work like this being done for me and I am sure others.  I have a book that I have started with but keep thinking - I wish I could "see" this being done!
