Made these glueups on a whim, turned out great.

Composed of poplar, padauk and purpleheart [think red, white & blue].

Both boards are 11x9", one is a consistent .15 thick [a bit  ore than 1/8], the other is .9 to .12.

Great bond, its as if they were a single slab of wood, in fact glue joints are generally stronger than the wood itself. Was run through a drum sander but a little finish sanding may be required.

Tough to price something like this, nothing to compare it to and as you might imagine, quite an effort to table saw slabs, glue and clamp, drum sand then slice with a bandsaw.
