kmmcrafts Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) I have two images that I'd like to merge together.. in other words I have two patterns both round in shape.. one being a larger than the other.. I need to insert the smaller one into the center of the larger one.. how ever the complete image is square so when I try to merge the two.. the smaller one is covering up a portion of the larger one because of the square shape of the image.. Hope I am making sense. LOL I am guessing I need to somehow.. cut out the smaller one by sort of cropping it.. however cropping programs always crop square or rectangle shape and I need round, LOL.. Cut and paste? How does one do this? I have both inkscape and gimp 2 on .. rather know on inkscape.. but I will take whatever info I can get from either program.. beggars can't be choosers LOL Thanks in advance for any help Kevin Edited July 25, 2017 by kmmcrafts Quote
TheWoodArtist Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 In Gimp at the top of the tool box next to the rectangle crop. Use that on the one you are wanting round and then copy and then create from clipboard and take out the checker board that is on the corners and then you'll have your round that you want kmmcrafts 1 Quote

Now I just got to figure out how to put an x in the center so I can center the clock in the middle.. Quote
