rjR Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 Like most of you; I have a few interests besides sawdust. Here is an example of one. This article was written about 10 years ago by me. Is now published as an on-line blog? I still think it is a very pretty truck. Here is the link. http://classictrucks.net/blue-star-studebaker/ Personal email comments are very welcome too. bandaideman Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 That was a good article you wrote. I had not thought about Studebakers in years. where I grew up there was a man who just loved them as they wore out or he found one he would bring it home and mess with it to keep in running. He would get help from us young fellows not so much that we were interested in the care or truck as he had 5 daughters. But I do remember them well the cars and the girls Quote
Scrappile Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 Good looking truck. I have a friend that lives sorta in your neck of the woods. He lives out of Colton. He is a huge Studebaker fan, has a Hawk(?) now that he has had for some time. Had a Avanti for a while, I always liked the look of them. There were a few others he restored, I don't remember then all. Quote
125 CSL Posted August 5, 2017 Report Posted August 5, 2017 Right up my driveway. Nice truck,....but to tell you the truth when I saw blue star I was thinking this was going to be about something else all together, and I was wondering where it might go. Quote
