I was reading an article about the effects of eclipse on animals.  Here is a Comment someone made.

Around 1 p.m. ish in east central Iowa.  I can call you when I get out of the bathroom.

I have to get up and go enough that the eclipse won't make any difference.

I am a distance away from the real show, but here in Louisiana it is like late afternoon.(instead of the normal bright overpowering sunlight at this time of day it is more like dusk)

strange while it was going on it was quiet, to tell you the truth really did not notice until it was over then all the birds started calling like crazy, the crows were making one heck of a uproar.

During the eclipse here in Southern Illinois the cicadas made quite a ruckus.

Got to see it on the TV. had to go upstairs for the potty before it finished. Sometimes age don't pay off .....

I was in the restroom for awhile. What Eclipse are you talking about?

It got darker here, like dusk was coming on, but that was about it. Although it was pretty funny seeing everyone standing out in the streets wearing welding helmets. The local hardware store sold out of welding lenses. I'm guessing most will be returned today.
