Hope and pray Kevin is ok. saw some autos caught up in deep water in Fort Lauderdale on Sky News today. Doesn't look very good.

According to the news we are getting there is still a lot of power outages and issues in various areas of FL so hopefully that is all that is keeping him off the internet and checking in here in the village.  Prayers for all.

I was protected by buildings ,but no power was the pits .Hours before the power came on i remembered i have a battery powered fan.I bought battery's an slept 15 hours dry as a bone,Thankzs Doc.

You hit the nail on the head .I was prepared for no power with a generator and full tank of gas but who would have thouhgh you could not siphon any out.I spent an hour trying every way i could ,no go grrr!

I hurt my already hurt back from unloading100 cases of water ,lifting a piano up 4' into a elevated warehouse and changing tires on a 16" rim jeep.not good and then dig out my generator and struggle to get it outside over obstacles.And then with short cords the exhaust was right in my face so that ended that idea.
