oldhudson Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) My mother will turn 100 Sept 29. Anyone have any great creative ideas on how to honor this with a scroll saw project? Or do you know of one and can direct me? A cake topper would work as we are having a party. Any questions? I'll check back or you can send a private email if you wish. Thanks for reading and may your next birthday be a happy one! I see Sue May has a few...maybe that would be the simplest path? meflick Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 Hey Berry, congratulations and Happy Birthday to your mom. A great milestone worthy of celebration for sure. While I don't have any real ideas for you, you mentioned a cake topper. I seem to recall that Steve Good recently shared some cake toppers - I think in the past week. Perhaps you can find one of those to work. Quote
amazingkevin Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I'd love to know how many make it to 100 Quote
oldhudson Posted September 18, 2017 Author Report Posted September 18, 2017 FYI, I found a pattern I can download so I'll do that this weeks. Quote
don in brooklin on Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 When my Mom turned 100 a couple of years ago she was really in good health and really sharp. I took a picture of my Grandkids (they called her Gigi) and made a jig saw puzzle with it. I used Steve's puzzle pages. I also made a frame for it to sit in when completed so she could look at. Until her health declined she would take apart and make over. She really enjoyed it. Don bobscroll 1 Quote
oldhudson Posted September 18, 2017 Author Report Posted September 18, 2017 Great idea Don, but having never done a puzzle before I'm sure this isn't the project to start on. Thanks for the idea. Quote
