trackman Posted December 21, 2017 Report Posted December 21, 2017 Wanting to see if anyone can make a pattern out of this picture. A little background on the church. This is the church James Dean's funeral was held in Fairmount, IN. The church asked my wife to restore the windows for them. It was a bigger job than she wanted to take on. So she contacted a man she knows in Jacksonville, IL that has a much bigger shop an more people to do the work. She did do 12 of the windows in her shop. The church is going to have an auction to help raise money for the window repair so I would like to make this for them. For you who may not know the story of James Dean he was an actor in the 50s who was killed in a car wreck at the age of 24. Thanks for looking an any try at a pattern. Quote
Birchbark Posted December 22, 2017 Report Posted December 22, 2017 This image looks really distorted to me, am i the only one? Are you sure you want this image made into a pattern? Russell Quote
trackman Posted December 22, 2017 Author Report Posted December 22, 2017 I had to stand in the middle of the street and look up to get all of it in. So it does look like it is on an angle. Here is a picture taken off of a information pamphlet. See if it will work better. Thanks for taking a look. Quote

multitom Posted December 23, 2017 Report Posted December 23, 2017 I found another bigger picture and tried but gave it up midway as too many elements to add and subtract. Pic attached if any of my friends wish to attempt- Sorry! blights69 1 Quote
Birchbark Posted December 25, 2017 Report Posted December 25, 2017 All terrible photos to work with, but i did my best, hope it helps. I'd appreciate a picture of the finished project, this is going to be a tough one IMO. Feel free to add bridges anyplace that will make you more comfortable.
