  1. I meant Steve at a wood show in Dayton Ohio. He was exactly the same man that he appeared to be on his blog! Some people get big heads and make you feel like they’re doing you a big favor just to look at you. Not Steve, we talked an couldn’t ask for a nicer person. Been following him so long I truly feel I have lost a good friend.
  2. Thanks Jim a Peter !
  3. Got a pattern from toys and joys for making a VW bus. Need to cut groves to highlight doors and engine vents. Like I said to small for trying to use a big router. And the groves don’t go from one end to the other so using a thin table saw blade is out.
  4. Is the dremel plunge router a good tool? I am going to need to cut grooves 1/16 inches wide an 1/16 inches deep. The cuts are too small for a big router. Or does anyone have a better idea of cutting these grooves? Longest one will be 2” a shortest 1/4” long.
  5. Thanks everyone! I seen the patterns and just had to cut them lol
  6. Been awhile scent I posted a picture. Been working on none scroll saw things. Seen these patterns on Sheila Landry web site a just had to make them. Used hickory and #5 pegas mg blades.
  7. I was self taught. Didn’t know what way to feed the blade. But to me it was a no brainer top feed made more sense. It only took a few times I could just feel were the blade goes into the clamp without looking. I have a EX21.
  8. Anyone use this product?
  9. Scissors hand?
  10. My brother asked if I could make him a gun stand. Made out of hickory a three coats of Arm-R-Seal. The bullets are the first things I have turned. Always fun to do a project for family. About forgot the name plate is cut out of poplar.
  11. Now that is one heck of a push block!!
  12. How does one get a copy of the patterns? Really like the “We Give Thanks “. Out standing!
  13. You can’t see very good in picture unless you zoom in. I buy Steve Good’s signature coins to sign with.
  14. Just a side note. I seen a show that compared all the actors in movies and tv past an present. To see who had the fastest gun draw. The fastest an the one who could handle the gun the best was Sammy Davis JR.
  15. Thanks to JR42 for making the pattern for me. A long time (child hood) friend of my wife likes Gunsmoke as much as I do. Only she has different eyes for Matt. Cut with #3 FD spiral blade. Also first time adding burning to a project. I felt Matt needed to be a bit dirty.
  16. If you read labels the ca glue states that if the parts are damp it will stick better. I ran out of accelerator one time and just used water from spray bottle. Couldn’t tell any difference.
  17. I agree with the others nice work! I think I liked it better before the oil. Stands out better. But don’t think I have heard of Sawbird blades. Were you get them?
  18. O boy Thanks for catching my screw up lol. Red Oak NOT cedar! Thanks for all the likes and comments.
  19. I have shown this bulldozer before. But now I have put it into a display case. I used model train ballast to look like the dozer is pushing stone. Case made from red cedar with walnut inlay.
  20. Showed your box to my wife. She wanted me to tell you that she thought you did it on purpose. Because it looks so good. She is a much better artist than I am for sure. The top draws eye to bottom. No mistakes in art lol
  21. Add a bridge in a couple of spots and you have a “finger licking “ good pattern
  22. Getting back to original question lol. I top feed an have no problem going thru the table on my EX 21. Usually the next hole to cut is next to the last one cut. But even if it isn’t when you lower the arm you can tell if you are hitting the table top. If touching the table just move the board. When I started scrolling I seen a guy bottom feeding. I thought that is stupid trying to see a hole looking under the board when the hole is right in front of you.
  23. Thanks to “Beaver” who give me the plans for the case. Now I have to make two more for my other models.
  24. For all the years I have been on this site I have never had to open other subsections. Just go to community then forums an everything you guys show is open. Didn’t know “everything else “ existed. I check this site using an IPHONE. But thanks for information things have changed but now I know how to find the other subsections.
  25. Didn’t we use to see that forum listed with the other ones (bragging, general, scroll questions)?
