Popular Post wombatie Posted December 28, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted December 28, 2017 Many of you saw the Bunny and Ferret jigsaws that I made for my granddaughter and daughter for Christmas. Well I thought that it would be fun if I put them in separate bags in pieces and wrapped them up that way. Granddaughter opened hers first. "Grams it's broken" yells my granddaughter. " No its not its a jigsaw puzzle", I tell her. While Holly is fiddling with her bunny my daughter Leanne opens her ferret. Well I learnt 2 things that day, 1, my family can't spell, 2, they can't do jigsaw puzzles but it was great fun watching them. We all had a big laugh. JimErn Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 <smile> I had a special order of a UT longhorn (the logo) as a puzzle, 14" wide, the customer wanted three, him, and his two brothers. Seems the brothers are competitive, so I suggested something similar. He gave each a picture of the completed longhorn puzzle in a Christmas card, and then he opened the box that contained all the pieces to all three puzzles. One rule if you take a piece out of the box and it does not fit, put it back before taking another. I heard from him yesterday, seems his whole family laughed for the 4 hours it took them to finally get all three completed - he lost by the way, last to finish. meflick, bobscroll, Dan and 5 others 5 3 Quote

Lucky2 Posted December 30, 2017 Report Posted December 30, 2017 Marg, that sounds like to much fun, obviously your puzzles were a big hit. And Jim, your puzzles seemed to be just as big a hit as Marg's was, congrats to you both for making Christmas so enjoyable for all those people. Len Quote

But I had to laugh, Holly (my granddaughter) said that she wanted to carry hers home on her lap so that it would not fall apart.........she dropped it and it was in pieces again, they would have had more fun when they got home trying to put it together again.
