It is made from pine with a food color wash

I find it easy to follow and working on the next project

Might have to get that book, have been wanting to get into Intarsia but I keep finding an excuse to put it off

My main reason is not having equipment to do the shaping, I have made a couple of segmentation pieces and usually shape these with a sanding block or emery boards.

Oges the different sander make it easier to do . But I have my dremel and a belt sander and picked up a sanding ball and sanding wheel from harbor freight but have not used them on any projects yet
