very nice work. One thing I do is I have samples of all the wood in the shop that has a finish on them. This helps me determine what woods will look good together sense wood can change dramatically after it is finished.

No, I am way too lazy to tramp around in the woods looking for them.  Than if I got one, I would have to drag it out?  Nope, not going to happen.   :):roll:

I think it looks awesome!!

PA whitetail have all different color racks so looks good to me.

I just cut all the pieces of the this pattern up about an hour ago. I hope mine comes half as good as yours.

I thought I had this all planned out.  I liked all my choices in wood types.  Than I cut and built it, so far its going OK.  Put the first coat of Poly and the antlers (made from Alder) and it got way darker than I wanted.  Wood used: Butternut, Walnut, Pine, and Alder.   Pattern by JGR.
