They look super and I have great admiration for someone who takes on a remodeling the kitchen project. That is serious DIY stuff. Did you make your cabinets too? I sure hope the counter tops last. I think they will but suspect they will need on-going maintenance. Still they will be unique. Of the materials used today for counter tops I think wood is the rarest.  We went with Cambria. Expensive, bloody right it was. But, six years in (in a heavily used kitchen) and they look exactly like the day they were installed. In our remodel we decided to no purchase any new appliances and that's how we paid for the counter tops. 

I can think of nothing in the woodworking world that's more rewarding than a kitchen remodel. Great job!
