Is that so you can open up more of the garage space for your puzzle making shop?;)

While I agree that assembly by others is often my preferred method, ;) especially for something like this - I will say DH and myself put one together ourselves for our 15th wedding anniversary. :) We put a gazebo together for the 25th I believe. :D  good news is this summer will be 33 so have a couple years to figure out 35th project.

Yep, gotta free up space for puzzle factory and my wife has taken up a hobby (pour painting) and will need a work space.  Will likely have part of the garage walled off to build actual work spaces for us that we can heat and cool.  That'll be down the road.  I'll just be glad to get a lot of big stuff out of the garage that just takes up space and isn't used much.

I enjoy manual labor and building things... but I figured a shed was something I didn't want tumbling over or on top of me so better left to a professional.  :-)

Is there room for a "Mail Pouch" ad on the side?

I'm thinking one side will have an ad for the map business and one side for the puzzle factory.   I was thinking the iconic "See Rock City" from the south that dotted most red barns but he might be too far away over there at the beach in NC from Chattanooga and Rock City to get them to buy in to an ad though. ;)

Iggy, Good news, we moved from that house but last I knew the shed was still standing.  Hubby is a pretty good DIYer and probably does "overkill" on making sure something stays standing!   That would have been 18 years ago. Now, tell me more about this "pour painting" projects the missus has started up - no wait, on 2nd thought - maybe not - I can't afford any more hobbies.   (But, no please do tell us more - I haven't heard of this before. (Now off to Google to find out more.):woot:

I built my shed a few years back - it was quite an experience since I had never built anything prior.

However, I learned so much from building it that I was able to build a kayak shed attachment to it last year.

Normally, I'm all for not doing these things myself, but retirement has really gotten me into the "build it myself" mode - good or bad - often times bad LOL

I think I need to go back to work :(

I agree with Melanie, please tell us more about your wife's pour painting.  Nice shed / barn by the way.

Marg

Mrs. Ig has been watching hours upon hours of videos on YouTube about pour painting and has been stockpiling supplies and she has done about 5 or 6 paintings so far as she experiments with styles, methods, tricks.  She loves it and the ones she has shown to friends have been well received.  Here are 2 of them and you can see the wide diversity in colors and styles that you can go with.  Then you get into the whole "OK, now, which way does it go?" Turn it this way... or this way... or this way...  :-)  Leave it completely up to each person what direction they like best.
