drill press table and fence with dust collector

Has anyone made a table and fence for a drill press to use with a sanding mop? Just trying to collect some of the dust while using the drill press and sanding mop.

I don't have a fence. I just hold the piece and sand away. As for dust collection, good question. My drill is the only tool with no dust collection.

I made a drill table and a home made fence as well but I don't use a sanding mop - at least not yet

For dust collection, I currently have a pvc 'L" I hold to the drill piece.

I also made these risers to help

I will however,  be making a "hold" for the dust hose over the next few weeks.using a large welding magnet from HF

When it's done I'll post it but it will be awhile yet - can't find the pics of it, but I'll look again

I have not built a fence (yet) for my drill press stand and cart. To remove cutting fuzz, I use the HF scotch brite balls in the drill press. I typically hold the piece in my hand and rotate in several directions to remove all the fuzz. If the piece is delicate, I will lay it on the bench and use a hand drill to clean it up.  I have my shop vac standing by for when it's done and its all gone in a few seconds.

This carvers dust collector is a powerful fan that gets a lot of use in my shop - it's pricey but does a good job of sucking up fine sanding dust that would end up floating in the air - it does not pick up heavier sawdust that immediately settles.

I don't use beside my drill press but do use it beside my scrollsaw and other tools including on my bench when sanding with the dremel tool or my other portable sanders - including my sanding mop when mounted on a cordless drill.   Obviously the closer you have the fan to your sanding source the better it is.

I Mopped in front of the ac intake with a pleated paper filter and no dust was in the house.

I made a table but dust collection. I think I will add a big gulp or the smaller version soon.
