Inkscape Download

I'm going to try learning Inkscape once again. Any issues  to be aware of in downloading it these days onto a pc?  Thanks for reading.

Just make sure you download it directly from the official Inkscape site. As long as you get it from there, it should be ok. That would be https://inkscape.org/en/

I originally had an older version that went bad (Most likely something I did wrong).  Uninstalled it and installed again.  Got a newer version but it kept the "Saved" work.  It appears that they never updated the instructions.  Go to;

I know and it drives me CRAZY! I've been using Inkscape since v42 or so (the version before they intro'd the spiro tool anyway) and now I'm using v92...same old manual as far as I can tell.

I mean, I get it that it's an open source collaboration (no one's getting paid), but it would be nice if someone out there would update the manual.
