cjswoodcrafts Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 worked on this the last few days, wood is pecan, wood burned deer scene, pic is a bit dark, used tung oil, will have to light sand it to hopefully lightien it up some, hope yall like, oops forgot to say, pic is from Lora s Irish book great book or wood burning. cjswoodcrafts Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 thanks Brett, Yeah i do pretty good at it, with that pecan wood, it was hard to do alot of detail cause of the grain wasa bit bumpy, even after alot of sanding, plus pecan wood is dark, and makes it hard for the detail to show, Thanks for the reply, as always, it is appreciated. cjswoodcrafts Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 thanks Kevin, always great to get complimented, also very appreciated, i do have alotttttt of stuff i gotsaved for craft fairs, just gotta find one thats not so expensive, we got one coming up called chiaha harvest fair, 175 bucks for like a 10 x 10 spot, so im still googling other towns fairs, hoping to do one soon, i am working on a cat memorial for a friend, her cat passed away, will post pic soon, thanks again Jim Quote
