Scrappile Posted March 4, 2019 Report Posted March 4, 2019 Saw this saw on Craigslist and it really hit the memory button.. This is the type saw I first scrolled on when I was probably 6 or 7. Except for the old table saw, my brothers and I pretty much had free rein on using my dad's tools. We had a wood lathe also about the same vintage. The blade was never changed,,, I'm pretty sure it was pin ended. Cut a lot of toy knives and guns on that saw. The kind of tools that started my love for wood working. https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/tls/d/anacortes-dunlap-scroll-saw-sears/6832855731.html Quote
kdparker Posted March 5, 2019 Report Posted March 5, 2019 You can just see the quality and craftsmanship in tools built back in the day like this saw. I know our modern tools have a lot of advantages, but they are not built with anywhere near the quality or longevity. Quote
teachnlearn Posted March 6, 2019 Report Posted March 6, 2019 I'm pretty sure that's my wooden table! Quote
