Well, you're in the same boat as every intarsia artist ever in existence until they started...  Pick you out a beginner pattern, get some cheaper wood like pine or cedar and give it a shot...  You never know;  you could be the next Judy Gale Roberts... ;)  I was on the fence about it at first too... I was very critical of myself and my projects but other intarsia looked so darn amazing to me that I had to keep at it... I still have MUCH to learn but I'm hanging in there...  I like that there are not many holes to drill... lol

Love it.  Oh and for your information they are not Koala Bears because they are not actually bears, they are just Koala's and if they could see yours they would love it too.  ;)  :lol:

Somehow, I knew that at one time or other but forgot...  I edited the title and removed “bear”...  Thank you for keeping me straight...
